For some time now, Crunchyroll has been betting on video games through Crunchyroll Game Vaulta service that is part of the Mega Fan plan and that gives access to a library of mobile games. Time has passed and now the anime platform has announced 15 titles that will become part of the service.

According to what they announced, Three of these games will be added to Game Vault today, while the other 12 will do so during the year.

This is how they point out that Crunchyroll Mega Fan members can play the turn-based role-playing game Battle Chasers: Nightwarthe beat em up inspired by kaiju Dawn of the Monsters and the exciting puzzle platformer game Evan’s Remains.

Along with this, Crunchyroll has announced that they have partnered with the visual novel company to bring several well-known franchises to their service such as STEINS;GATE, Corpse Party, PSYCHO-PASS: MANDATORY HAPPINESS and The Quintessential Quintuplets: Memories of a Quintessential Summer.

”The addition of visual novels to Crunchyroll’s line of games is another example of how we serve our fans with entertainment that deepens their love for anime,” said Terry Li, executive vice president of emerging businesses at Crunchyrol, “Like manga, visual novels are a source of material for successful anime and often expand on beloved series. It’s important to offer that content to our audience as part of their membership.”.

Finally, the rest of the games that will be added to the service correspond to the award-winning rhythmic roguelike Crypt of the NecroDancer, the metroidvania 9 Years of Shadowthe action-adventure title based on the hit anime RWBY: Arrowfell and among others.
