WhatsApp is preparing a new tool in the iPhone which allows you to improve the experience in the notifications section.
It was WABetaInfo, a site specialized in disseminating the latest updates to the messaging application, that announced the feature that can reach these devices and that is directly related to the multimedia content that is shared on the platform.
Sending multimedia content is a common practice in individual or group WhatsApp chats. However, it often happens that the content is not sent due to connection problems and users only realise it when they check the conversation again. Otherwise, the files that were attempted to be sent are forgotten.
To solve this dilemma, The messaging application plans for users to receive a notification warning of interruptions in loading contentwhether due to having slow internet or other reasons, so that they can take action right then and there.
The goal is to ensure that people can check the upload status of photos or videos they have sent, without having to open the platform every hour of the day.
Whenever file upload failure occurs, On iPhones, a very specific notification will appear indicating the problem that has occurred and a thumbnail of the video or photo that could not be sent in the chats. Of course, pressing it does not mean that the sending process has resumed, but rather that you will have to reopen the application to solve it.
The update is currently available for some users who have the beta version of WhatsApp for iOS, in the TestFlight application. It is possible that it will be added to the official versions soon.
