After releasing the June 2024 Android update in a large number of high-end and mid-range mobile phones from its catalognow Samsung has started rolling out the latest Android security patch on a few entry-level smartphones from the successful Galaxy A family.

Thus, after recently updating the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G, it is now the turn of one of the cheapest terminals in its portfolio, a Galaxy A05s that arrived on the Spanish market at the end of last year.

As confirmed by the specialized media SamMobile, Samsung has started releasing the June Android update in the Galaxy A05s from the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and New Zealand.

This new software is being deployed in the aforementioned terminal with firmware version A057FXXS4CXF1 and includes the June 2024 security patch, which Solves nearly 6 dozen privacy and security related issuesresolves a few general interface bugs that were discovered in previous versions of One UI and Improves the performance and stability of this low-end smartphone.

Once this security update reaches Galaxy A05s around the world, you will be able to check if it is already available on your device by accessing the menu Settings from your terminal and entering the section Software update.

Once you have it available, all you have to do is tap the button Download and install and let One UI handle the rest.
