Twitch starts today the TwitchCon 2024, a fair that takes place in Rotterdam to unite the platform’s vibrant global community while they can meet their favorite streamers. During the opening ceremony, Dan Clancy, its CEO, revealed the upcoming news coming to Twitchhighlighting new updates and programs to further unite content creators.

First of all, Twitch has revealed the Streamer Achievement Program, intended to recognize those who have achieved significant milestones. This program will have three levels, rewarding creators who have accumulated 5, 20 and 250 million hours viewed.

On the other hand, a new Creators Club will help streamers find communities with similar interests. Starting in July it will be possible to join DJ and IRL clubs, with exclusive access to a Club Discord, special events and monthly workshops.

For its part, Twitch’s mobile app will receive a redesign to improve the user experience and make it easier to find content. New features include improvements to autoplay and performance, while the feature of the Stories It will allow streamers to connect with their audience even outside of their live broadcasts as is done in other applications such as Facebook or Instagram with videos of up to 60 seconds.

Twitch will also add a New feature within the Stream Together program to facilitate collaborations between streamers, allowing them to join other streams in a simple way and without complex planning. For their part, the empowerments will allow viewers to support their favorite streamers with special effects in the chat. Finally, Twitch will also improve its streaming service for all content creators with a latest version of OBS Studio that will allow 1400p/4K broadcastsimproving video quality and accessibility for viewers around the world.
