After seven games without winning, Millionaires has ended his bad streak in nothing more and nothing less than in the capital classic where he beat Independent Santa Fe by 3-1. Daniel Cataño, Santiago Giordana and Diego Hernández (against) scored the goals for the Albiazules while Hugo Rodallega scored for the cardinals.
In the first half, Santa Fe had its first approach at 17′ in a play in which Diego Novoa went wrong in his own half as the ball hit Hugo Rodallega and there the forward bothered the goalkeeper, but Novoa stayed with the ball again.
At around 25′, Jorge Arias had Millonarios’ first in a left-footed free kick that went over the top. After this play, the defender had to leave the field due to a possible injury.
In the 33rd minute, Daniel Moreno received a great lobbed pass from Rodallega and there Novoa went wrong and committed a penalty against the Cardinal footballer. A few minutes later, Rodallega made the charge from the twelve steps.
