Although they knew that their fans had a special affection for them, CD9 did not imagine the furor that their return to the stage would cause, since a few hours after announcing their concert at the CDMX Arena for July 19, the boyband sold out the tickets.

“I can speak for all five of us: the news of the sold out took us by surprise—one, because of the short time it was sold out, since a few months ago we were talking about whether it was a good idea to get together again, to have a show again like band because there was this nerve and when we started the date, we saw the reaction of many people on social networks, I was not so aware of this euphoria, this affection, that it was so strong and the fact that it was done alone in less than 60 minutes, It goes back to when we had our first show at the Metropolitan Theater,” said Jos.

Repeating the success they had a few years ago is a dream for the group.

“I still can’t believe everything that’s happening, sitting here, I can’t believe it. It has been a dream and yes, it was something unreal, it is something that excites us very much and puts a great responsibility in our hands, we have all grown and matured and the fact of having such a great responsibility, in such an important arena for “This country, rest assured, is going to be incredible,” said the singer.

Due to the sold out, the group decided to open another date at the CDMX Arena for next August 30.

“We weren’t sure if people wanted to see CD9 again, and they wanted to have that experience. In a way it did take us by surprise, but there is a very beautiful thing that this shows: we never left, because we are here for a reason, because you didn’t leave either, and that also gives us energy, to be able to be together on stage. We are very anxious to be able to experience it, and I am sure that many of you are too, thank you for all the support, it is going to be a great, incredible show, it is going to be the best of everything you have seen,” said Alan.
