A fire at Central Pier on the Atlantic City boardwalk was burning Thursday night as authorities sounded a third alarm.
At 7:45 pm the fire was still not under control, according to city officials. A third alarm was sounded at after 8 pm
The fire was initially reported at 7:07 p.m., officials said, and black smoke could be seen billowing from above the tall structure Thursday night.
No injuries or causes have been reported.
No other information was immediately available.
