Accident At Arti Singh’s Sangeet: Abu Malik Falls On The Red Carpet, Hurts His Back Badly – Exclusive
Arti Singh‘s Sangeet ceremony was infused with joy and fervor as family and friends gathered to celebrate. The actress got married to Navi Mumbai-based businessman Dipak Chauhan on April 25. Amidst the glitz and glamour, a moment of concern rose at the couple’s sangeet on April 23 as musician and family friend Abu Malik encountered a mishap on the red carpet. Times Now/Telly Talk India has exclusive details on what exactly transpired that led to Malik being bedridden for five days. Unfortunately, he had to miss the wedding.
Abu Malik falls down at Arti Singh’s sangeet
Arti Singh and Dipak Chauhan’s sangeet ceremony was hosted at the Kino Cottage in Versova, Mumbai. While coming out of the venue, Abu Malik fell down. Talking to us, Abu, who is popular singer Anu Malik’s brother, says that the red carpet was laid in such a way that it was covering a small step that wasn’t visible. There was no demarcation, hence, he didn’t spot it.

“I fell flat on my stomach while coming out and hurt my back very badly. I was shreiking in pain throughout the night and even got some tests done. Fortunately I got no fracture but there’s a big spasm,” Abu says, adding that he you have been bedridden since last 5 days. This is the reason he couldn’t attend the wedding.
Abu Malik also claims that the event organizers at Arti’s sangeet were not up to the mark. “They escorted me until the stage but while coming out, there was nobody to tell me to mind my step,” he mentions.
Abu’s brother, Anu Malik, later called to check up on him. He asked Abu to ‘be in bed and not move out at all’. He was very concerned.
This accident could have turned fatal for Abu Malik especially because he had a cataract done 12 days ago. Fortunately, he did n’t hurt his eyes and his retina was not displaced. Abu is currently bedridden but he will somehow have to visit the clinic on Monday to get a check up on his cataracts.
Abu Malik informs us that he told Arti later about what had happened and she was speechless. She had no words to say.

Today (April 28), Arti and Dipak shared the official photos from their wedding ceremony on Instagram. In one of the photos, Dipak even gives a peck on Arti’s cheek. Arti looks ethereal in her bridal attire while Dipak’s dashing groomsmen look has our hearts. Arti Singh captioned her post, “Mr and Mrs. Chauhan.”
In another set of photos, Arti Singh beautifully wrote, “Two Souls, Two Hearts That Now Shall Beat As One. #DipakKiArti.”
