LEXINGTON, Va. – The eighth-ranked Washington and Lee University women’s lacrosse team wrapped up their regular season with a 20-6 non-conference win over the University of Mary Washington on Sunday afternoon.

The Eagles (5-12) scored first but the Generals (14-3) recovered from an early 2-1 deficit with five minutes off the clock. W&L roared back to score 13 of the 15 first-half-goals to celebrate a senior day victory.

Prior to the contest the program recognized its Women’s Lacrosse Class of 2024: Walker McKnight, Julia Thomson, Shannon Timoney, Ginny Taylor, Eugenie Rovegno, Allie Doyle, Alex Petras, Hannah Bishop and Caroline Kranich.
