The audience took the theme of the show very seriously, many arrived at the well-known racetrack with looks consistent with cumbia, such as skirts, fringes or even cowboy hats. In the first stage of the show the artists took the stage: Jorge Al Corte and the band 8 Corazones respectively.
At 9:00 p.m. they took the stage The Devils of Colombiawith its new members Jorge González, Germán Jaimes and Guillermo Ortiz. The vallenato group performed their hits as: “When I almost forgot you”, “Look for a confidant”, “I’m not going to cry”, “Fly, Fly”, “The paths of life”, “You are going to fly”, “Crossed boyfriends”, among others.
Argentina at home
Next, one of the new Argentine figures on the music scene took the stage, BM, who greeted the Paraguayan public with joy and performed his hits such as: “MA”, “Lágrimas”, “Separarnos fue un error”, “Ni una, ni dos”, “Morocha”, “Best Friends remix”, among more songs. Santa Fe cumbia arrived on stage with the help of The Palmeraswho celebrate 50 years of experience.
In the setlist presented by the Argentine group the songs were heard: “The Tail”, “Bitch”, “The Most Popular”, “Macumba”, “You Swore”, “Atorrante”, “Killer Bombón”, “Sad Girl” and more. By this point in the night, those present were already in tune with the tropical music, they could be seen dancing and singing at the top of their lungs, the aforementioned hits.
The memory of Vita Aranda
After midnight this Sunday, the Vallenata group Binomio de Oro de América took over the stage, led by Israel David Romeroson of Israel Romero or also known as “El Pollo Irra”, founding member of this band. The group’s repertoire began with the songs: “My second life”, “How I forget you”, “If your love does not return”, “Different destinies”, “A sleepy bear”, “I got excited”among other classics.
The singer of the band, on several occasions, greeted the audience in Guaraní, and the phrase was also included: “Rohayhu Paraguay”. It was in the middle of the song “You will miss me”, that the leader of the group brought a young woman named Sol, who was celebrating her bachelorette party at the festival, onto the stage. Likewise, at this point he remembered the influencer Cristina “Vita” Arandawho lost his life as a collateral victim, at a music festival that occurred in 2022.
The attack occurred in the middle of the Vallerano group’s show and it was with this song. For the same, Israel David Romero Greetings to Emilia Aranda and Dolly Carrillo, who were in the audience, and mentioned: “With this song she (Vita Aranda) joined us, on that day that you already know.” The Binomio de Oro show culminated with the song “Forget it.”
To the sound of the quartet
The new face of the quartet is Luck Ra (25), an artist from Córdoba who performed for the first time in Asunción, thanks to the Cumbiasónico festival. This young man’s setlist started with the songs: “I want to believe”, “Lies”, “Teresa”, “A Thousand Questions”, “Tocó and I’m leaving”, “I’m thirsty”, “That I’m missing everything”, “Hello, lost”, “I would mind you” and “Morocha” ”. The festival closed with the artists: DJ Tao and El Capitan.
