The Vivo V30 series, which initially launched in India with the V30 and V30 Pro models in March, is set to welcome a new addition to – Vivo V30e. The smartphone is scheduled to debut in India May 2 and is expected to be available for sale in the second week of May. This new addition will also make its way to other Asian markets such as Malaysia and Indonesia, although specific launch dates for these regions have not yet been announced.
In terms of pricing, the Vivo V30e is likely to be positioned between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000, aligning with its predecessor’s pricing strategy. It will be available in 8GB RAM configurations with the choice of either 128GB or 256GB of storage. This places the V30e just below the standard Vivo V30, which is priced starting at Rs. 33,999 for the 8GB/128GB model.

Talking about the specifications, the Vivo V30e is expected to be equipped with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. Coming to the software, the phone is expected to run on FutouchOS 14, which is based on Android 14.
Talking about the display, the phone might come with a 6.78-inch Full HD+ Curved Amoled screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Promotional content from Vivo had earlier given us a glimpse into the phone’s design. In the promotional teaser, the phone could be seen in a deep wine color with a matte finish and a contrasting glossy strip. The device was also seen featuring a distinctive circular camera module equipped with dual lenses and a flash, enhanced by a glowing ring for improved selfies and low-light performance.
The phone is expected to be released in India in two color variants: Velvet Red and Silky Blue. A third option, Cloud White, might not be available in India at the time of the launch. The phone is also expected to be just 7.65mm in thickness.
In terms of camera, the phone might include a primary camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel main sensor and an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle lens. In addition to this, Vivo’s signature Aura light might result in better photo quality. The front camera is expected to be a 32-megapixel unit.
The Vivo V30e is also expected to come with a 5,500mAh battery supported by 44W wired charging, promising quick power-ups. Additional expected features include NFC for versatile connectivity and a unique Tough Body Armor for enhanced durability. The phone is also expected to feature a Water Wet display, designed to remain responsive even with wet hands or in rainy conditions.
