Six-run first propels Audubon baseball to 5-inning win over Haddon Township

Joseph Slavin had two hits, including a double, and drove in four runs as Audubon blanked Haddon Township, 12-0, at Greenberg Field in Audubon.

The Green Wave (9-5) jumped on Haddon Township with six runs in the first inning and added five in the third on the way to their third straight win.

Charles Copsetta and Bryce Dempsey also had two hits each for Audubon. Dempsey doubled and drove in two runs.

The pitching win went to Gabe McCracken, who allowed just one hit over three scoreless innings, struck out three and didn’t issue a walk. Jason Stocklin pitched the last two frames and didn’t allow a hit as he struck out three.

Haddon Township fell to 3-9 with its fifth straight loss.
