Coquimbo Kingdom had an inspired Friday afternoon on the field of the Francisco Sánchez Rumosoro Stadium, winning categorically by 3-1 to Huachipato and standing next to Palestino as the only U guards in the National Championship.
The pirates, who did not have their coach Fernando Díaz on the bench due to his recovery process, opened the account thanks to the commendable effort of the attacker Nicolás Johansen, who after recovering the ball ran towards the area to take advantage of Dilan Glaby’s cross with an accurate header and declare the temporary 2-0.
Just eight minutes later, it was Bruno Cabrera who joined the networks to declare the 2-0 and the tranquility of the locals.
After these two blows, Huachipato found no answers, so in the second half a pirate counterattack was enough to end the development of the game. Coquimbo Kingdom climbed to third place, with 21 points, the same amount as Palestino, consolidating itself along with the Arabs as the only guards from the University of Chile.
