The “Eva Perón” Free Chair will hold a conference called “Always Evita” this Wednesday, May 8. “The role of Eva Duarte de Perón as a female leader in Argentine society.” The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. with the institutional opening and will end at 5 p.m. with the closing conference “Peronism and feminism” by Araceli Bellota.

After the institutional opening, at 10:30 in room 25 the panel “Images of Evita” will be held, with the participation of Professor Vilma Saez and members of the Rodolfo Walsh Group that runs the Faculty’s Student Center. The activity is moderated by Professor Isabel Arigós.

Starting at 11:30 it will be the turn of the panel “Eva Perón and Latin American women.” It will be attended by Dr. María Cecilia Morán and Professor Laura Macek. Vilma Saez will coordinate the meeting.

Later, at 2 p.m., a round table called “Eva Perón between social policy and action” will take place. The activity will feature the participation of Dr. Yanina Lonardi, Lic. Julia Rosenberg and Dr. Damián Cipolla. Dr. Claudio Panella is in charge of coordinating the meeting.

At 3:30 p.m. the presentation of the book “Eva Perón. Comrades and companions…” It will be attended by its author, Lic. Sergio Régolo, and Professor Guillermo Clarke will present the activity.

Finally, at 5 p.m., also in room 25 of the Néstor Kirchner building, the day will culminate with the closing conference “Peronism and Feminism” by the historian and journalist Araceli Bellota.
