MYRTLE BEACH, SC — The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday will release its findings into the death of a Myrtle Beach pastor’s wife, WMBF reports.

Deputies were called on April 27 to Lumber River State Park in North Carolina for a death investigation where 30-year-old Mica Miller’s body was found.

Mica Miller was married to Pastor John-Paul Miller with the Solid Rock Church in Market Common Myrtle Beach.

Miller’s official cause of death has not been released, but her husband said her death was a suicide, although many of her friends said they are struggling to believe it.

The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office said on Facebook that Sheriff Burnis Wilkins will meet with Miller’s family Tuesday night to review findings from a report from the State Medical Examiner’s Office.

“Sheriff Wilkins is also asking for everyone to please await the full timeline of events before making assumptions and coming to conclusions,” the post read.

Multiple memorial services were held Sunday in Myrtle Beach to honor Miller, who friends and family say was an extremely involved member at Solid Rock Church, where she sang.

“She was just the nicest person you ever talked to, very uplifting, very supportive, always helping,” one man said. “She was just so nice.”

A woman said Mica baptized her daughter and played an active role in the church’s youth program.

While some gathered at Market Common to remember Miller on Sunday, others gathered at the beach in North Myrtle.

“Mia was a strong Godly loving woman,” one man said. “I remember the first time walking in a church, hearing her voice and her singing and just feeling the Holy Spirit.”
