VRFA Blotter: Rollover accident, stab wound, injuries from assault & more

Here are 911 Calls for Service responded to by the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA) from April 19–May 5, 2024:

• Aid Call: (Pacific) On Monday, April 29th at 9:23 am, VRFA firefighters, along with King County Medic One Paramedics, responded to assist an adult male experiencing shortness of breath. After receiving on-scene treatment, the patient was safely transported to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center by private ambulance.
• Engine Vehicle Collision: (Auburn) On Tuesday, April 30th at 2:57 pm, VRFA firefighters responded to a single-vehicle rollover accident on Hwy 18. Upon arrival, firefighters stabilized the vehicle and assessed the single occupant. Fortunately, the occupant sustained no injuries and declined further assistance.
• Aid Call: (Auburn) On Wednesday, May 1st at 8:50 pm, VRFA firefighters responded to assist a male with a stab wound to his left forearm. Upon arrival, firefighters evaluated and provided immediate treatment to the patient on scene. The patient was transported to a local hospital by private ambulance.
• Aid Call: (Lea Hill) On Friday, May 3rd at 10:34 am, VRFA firefighters responded to assist an adult female experiencing symptoms of high blood pressure and weakness. Upon evaluation, the patient was deemed in need of further medical attention and was transported to MultiCare Covington Medical Center by private ambulance for continued care.
• Aid Call: (Auburn) On Saturday, May 4th, at 4:31 pm, VRFA firefighters responded to assist an adult male who had sustained injuries in an assault. After evaluation, the patient was transported to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center by private ambulance for further medical care.
• Engine Vehicle Collision: (Auburn) On Sunday, May 5th at 7:20 am, VRFA firefighters responded to a three-car blocking collision. Upon arrival, firefighters and King County Medic One Paramedics assessed multiple patients, secured the damaged vehicles, and determined that all injuries were minor. One patient was transported to a local emergency room for further medical treatment.
