Almost 300 families that do not heat with gas accessed the EPEN subsidy

So far, 280 families in San Martín de los Andes have accessed the subsidy from the Neuquén Provincial Energy Agency (Epen) for homes that are not heated with gas. This Tuesday, Mayor Carlos Saloniti signed, together with representatives of the Neuquén company, the first form with the beneficiaries.

On April 22, the Community Strengthening area of the Ministry of Social Development opened registration so that homes that use the electrical system for heating can access the discount on the rates of the Provincial Energy Entity.

Registrations can be made until the end of May between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., through the Secretariat of Social Development and Human Rights (located in Drury and Fosbery) and in the three Delegations located in El Arenal, Vega Centro and Cordones del Chapelco. EPEN users must attend with a photocopy of their last invoice received.

At the Chapelco Cordons Delegation the hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

This agreement is materializing for the fifth year to accompany those families who live in urban ejido neighborhoods without access to the gas network and/or who use electricity for heating.
