Jeremy Renner ‘Actually Died’ in Snowplow Accident, Says Mayor of Kingstown Co-Star

Mayor of Kingstown‘s Jeremy Renner continues his incredible recovery from last year’s harrowing snowplow accident, with many stories shared about that day. Co-star Michael Beach paints an even darker picture of the near-fatal incident, stating Renner “actually died” that day.

Speaking with The Direct, Beach recalled the accident and revealed Renner told him that he was clinically dead for a short time during the ordeal. However, Beach praised Renner’s resilience and will live following the incident, seeing how much stronger he has become since returning to work for Mayor of Kingstown Season 3. “Jeremy [Renner] is a war horse, man. I mean that guy, you know, he broke 38 bones. He actually died, which I didn’t know until he told me, and he’s been coming back. And he says he wasn’t sure how it would be. But he was ready. And he says every week, he feels stronger and stronger. And there’s been no interruption because of his physical abilities or not. He’s in it doing it. He’s great. Yeah, he’s a great guy, man. And he’s really as tough as nails,” he said.

Jeremy Renner was in fantastic shape at Chris Evans’ wedding following his near-fatal snow plow accident.

Renner suffered blunt chest trauma, several broken bones and severe blood loss following the accident, which took place on New Year’s Day (Jan. 1) of last year at his Nevada home. The Marvel Cinematic Universe actor was run over by his rogue Pistenbully snowcat, after saving his nephew, Alex Fries, from being crushed by the heavy machinery. Beach confirmed Fries is working behind the scenes during Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 production. “And you know, his nephew, who he saved, works on the show. So you get a couple of perspectives, and they are not shy about telling you what was going on, how they felt, and all that stuff. So it’s a unique perspective to the story of how Jeremy Renner got run over by a Snowplow,” he said.

Jeremy Renner Worked Hard to Get Back to Work

Since the accident, Renner has worked tirelessly to get back to a clean bill of health, undergoing rigorous physiotherapy to ensure a return to acting and making significant progress, which he has documented.
