Delivery of gas and carbon monoxide detectors to ISFD 6

In compliance with the commitment made last week, this Friday, authorities from the educational portfolio delivered to the Higher Institute of Teacher Training -ISFD No. 6- of the capital of Neuquén, the first three gas and carbon monoxide detectors that will be installed in the next few days at school. This is a first batch of a total of 20 sensors that will be placed in the building.

The management responds to what was agreed in the last meeting held last week with that educational community. It should be remembered that the company Camuzzi Gas del Sur carried out a total of six inspections in recent days following complaints of alleged gas losses, which determined the non-existence of both carbon monoxide and gas leaks; and ratified the same results of last year’s inspections.

The devices delivered today are calibrated and enabled by ENARGAS (National Gas Regulatory Entity). On Monday, representatives from the technical area of School Maintenance will determine their installation sites.

The coordinator of Infrastructure and Maintenance of the ministry, Atilio Zapico, the coordinator of Levels and Modalities, Verónica Crespo and the undersecretary of Educational Technology of the portfolio Lucas Godoy approached the establishment to deliver the detectors. The sensors were received by the regent of the Application Department (initial and primary levels), María Cristina De Los Ríos

Also during the visit, the educational authorities reported that next week, the delivery of an electric extractor for the kitchen sector of the institution is scheduled. They also indicated that the executive expansion and adaptation projects have already been prepared to advance in the completion of the works in the short term in said space.

Let us remember that in ISFD No. 6 there is an enrollment of 377 boys and girls between the initial and primary level – in morning and afternoon shifts – and 50 teachers belonging to the Application Department, and classes have been taught normally since the beginning of the cycle lecture. At the tertiary level, enrollment is 1,600 students, in morning and afternoon shifts with primary and tertiary courses and 245 teachers.
