A private company was carrying out repairs on a sidewalk and caused the accidental rupture of a Litoral Gas pipeline. An operation was mounted and the incident was resolved without major consequences.

Moments of concern were experienced shortly before noon this Wednesday in the downtown area of ​​the city of Puerto General San Martín due to a gas leak caused by the accidental rupture of a pipeline.

According to the authorities, workers from the company Ingeniería Soluciones were repairing the sidewalk in the northwest corner of the corner of San Martín and Nerbutti avenues when they accidentally caused a partial rupture of a pipe in the natural gas network, causing a fluid leak. .

Shortly after, personnel from the contractor Redes y Servicios arrived at the scene and managed to plug the damaged pipe and solve the gas loss. The presence of members of the San Lorenzo Sapper Firefighters Group and municipal agents was also necessary.

Beyond the concern of neighbors and merchants in the area, there was no major damage or personal casualties to report.
