At 9:35 on Thursday, May 23, 2024, a burst occurred in the S2G and Carpuela streets in the urbanization Valley Gardenin the southeast of Quito. The explosion, which occurred inside a home located on the second floor, shattered the windows of the house and threw glass into the garage of the residence, where about 20 vehicles are stored.
