“No escape route”: PFA detained a woman with an arrest warrant for drug trafficking

The person involved was part of a criminal organization dedicated to drug trafficking from the Republic of Paraguay to different parts of our country and Uruguay. Last September, the National Gendarmerie had raided her home, although on that occasion the troops were unable to find the woman. However, various elements of interest to the case were seized at the scene, among which the vehicle identification card of a vehicle in which said gang had transported 35 kilos of cocaine stood out.

Subsequently, the investigations carried out by the federal authorities detected that the fugitive was renting a home on Terrada Street at 3300 in the town of San Justo. Consequently, the detectives carried out various field tasks and identified the suspicious address. Thus, they implemented stealth surveillance in the surrounding area and after several hours, they managed to arrest the woman on public roads.

The detainee was placed at the disposal of the Federal Court No. 2 of Formosa, in charge of Dr. María Belén López Mace, Criminal Secretariat of Dr. María Lucrecia Gallardo, for violation of the Drug Law.
