The authorities closed the Alto de la Línea road due to the explosion that occurred in the Los Azulejos tunnel. A tractor-trailer would have been left without brakes.
Authorities from Tolima and Quindío are in relief efforts after an accident was recorded in the Los Azulejos tunnel in Alto de la Línea, in the morning hours of this June 1.
According to the authorities, the accident occurred because a tractor unit ran out of brakes and then caused an explosion.
This fact caused the road to be closed and with it, Firefighters will arrive at the site to evaluate the situation.

Through social networks the situation was known in this area of Colombia.
Invías also revealed more details of the incident, which according to authorities, there would be two people dead.
“A collision between two tractor-trailers causes a fire in the tunnel Azulejos, km 32, which generates a total closure on the #Calarcá – Cajamarca road,” explained Invías.
