Natural gas continues to reach more homes in the province of Córdoba. In this case, about 80 homes in Cuesta Blanca managed to join the network.
The neighbors benefited from the financing fund for home distribution networks.
The authorization of the second stage of the work included the execution of 3,556 linear meters of branches, with an investment of 24,415,242 million pesos.
Augusto Pastore, Secretary of Government, highlighted the achievement and stressed that it contributes to improving the quality of life of citizens. “These are magnificent works that those of us who come from the interior dreamed of and know what it is like not to have natural gas, to transport the bottle, the tube, etc. This improves the quality of life and makes us more sustainable,” he noted regarding the initiative that also included the installation of a trunk pipeline.
Karina, a neighbor who in September – when the first stage was inaugurated – accessed natural gas, pointed out the importance of such a work. “Natural gas changed my life. It’s a before and after. “I was born and raised in the town, and the truth is that it is an incredible advance,” she stated.
It should be noted that the third stage, which will reach another 80 houses, is already underway. And when the complete work – stages 1, 2 and 3 – is completed, it will reach 200 homes and 800 neighbors.
Also present were Ana Gaitán, the communal president; legislator Leonardo Limia; David Mercado, general director of Communes, and Natalio Graglia, undersecretary of Municipalities.
