The XXII Film Festival started this Monday in more than 338 cinemas throughout Spain, totaling almost 3,000 screens, and will run until next Thursday, June 6, with ticket prices at 3.5 euros.

The initiative, according to the Federation of Cinemas of Spain (FECE), aims to encourage attendance at movie theaters as a social and cultural habit. The advance sale of tickets for the four days began last Wednesday on the cinemas’ websites and on the traditional ticket sales websites and at the cinema box offices.

During these four days, viewers will be able to enjoy films such as ‘Imaginary Friends’, ‘Arthur’, ‘Back to Black’, ‘Free Fall’, ‘Dune: Part Two’, ‘The Georgetown Exorcism’, ‘Evil is Not exists’, ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’, ‘The Last Summer’, ‘Fireworks’, ‘Furiosa, ‘Garfield’, ‘Godzilla and Kong: The New Empire’, ‘Haikyu!! The Battle of the Garbage Bin’, ‘Until the End of the World’, ‘The House’, ‘The Sleeping Woman’, ‘Irene’s Promise’, ‘What Happens Next’, ‘The Good Teachers’, ‘Mammal’, ‘ Menudas Pieces’, ‘Nina’, ‘Second Prize’, among others.

The initiative now has more than 30 million viewers among all the editions that have been held since 2009.
