Tigre lost 3 to 1 against River Plate on the fourth date of the Professional Soccer League Tournament. Gonzalo Maroni scored the Matador’s only goal, from a penalty, at the end of the first half.
The match was even, especially in the initial half in which those led by Sebastián Domínguez created dangerous situations against the rival goal and at times, controlled the threads of the game. After starting down on the scoreboard, they went to half-time 1-1. In the second half, the home team was able to take the lead twice and took the three points. Miguel Borja scored the three goals for the local team.
