On the “Day of the Argentine Soldier”: salary increase for the Armed Forces and Police of Naval Establishments

The Official Gazette has officially published the increase in salaries for members of the Armed Forces (FFAA) and the Naval Establishments Police, who will begin to receive their new salaries as of June 1, 2024. The measure, signed by the ministers of Economy and Defense, reflects resolution 33/2024 that establishes the need to readjust salaries for these sectors. This adjustment is made in order to recognize the capacity, responsibility and dedication required by the correct execution of its activities.

The resolution, dated May 31, highlights that the expense derived from compliance with this provision will be met with the credits corresponding to the respective subjurisdictions of the General Budget of the National Public Administration of the Ministry of Defense. This increase seeks to adequately prioritize the members of the Armed Forces and the Naval Establishments Police.
