Women with Wellbeing: When does payment in EDOMEX resume after the elections?

The state social support plan in the State of Mexico, known as Women with Wellbeing, offers financial aid of 2,500 pesos to women who are heads of family, aged between between 18 and 64 years oldwith the goal of having a positive impact on this specific part of the population.

The Welfare Secretariat reported that deposits for social programs would be temporarily stopped due to the electoral ban. Now, as this process has concluded, the same secretariat has provided information regarding the resumption of payments.

When does payment resume in EDOMEX after the elections?

According to the information provided by the Ministry of Welfare, Payments will be made again from July. This measure also extends to other programs, such as the Welfare Pension for older adults.

It should be remembered that the last time an advance payment was granted to all programs was the one corresponding to March-April and May-June before the June 2 elections. So, since the deposit is made every two months, it will be renewed in July of this year to continue providing support to the 650 thousand participants.

However, it is also important to mention that The official schedule of payments to beneficiaries has not yet been publishedso it is recommended to be aware of the official accounts of the Ministry of Welfare in the coming weeks, as it is possible that they will announce the precise dates of the turns at that time.

How many years will the Women with Wellbeing program last?

The Mujeres con Bienestar 2024 program has a fixed period determined by the government of the State of Mexico. Those who benefit will be able to obtain financial support for a maximum period of two years since joining the program. This timeline means they will be in the system for 24 months, allowing more women to receive assistance.

Requirements to participate:

To be a woman.

Live and have domicile in the State of Mexico.

Be between 18 and 64 years old at the time of application.

Not be a beneficiary of other federal, state or municipal programs that provide monetary support.
