Our drive for internationalization comes from the need to increase its customer base and to do so they saw that there are real possibilities in Peru and Colombia, where there is a growing interest in incorporating sustainability into all production processes.

Regarding the initiative, the director of the Corfo Biobío Committee, Roberta Lama, highlighted that “we are working powerfully to support innovative ventures to develop a regional ecosystem with high growth potential and export their products and services through our Red instrument. Today we see this new participating group with an important base in research, development and business innovation to promote competitiveness, productive diversification and with significant growth potential outside the borders of Biobío and Chile.”

Added to this are the words of the regional director (S) of ProChile in Biobío, Ramón Paredes, who indicated that “the region has an important human capital of professionals who for decades have contributed to the development of numerous Chilean industries, including mining, forestry, fishing, aquaculture and agriculture, designing innovative and efficient solutions that can be replicated in other markets, particularly in Latin America. In these Services Export Network projects, ProChile collaborates through its Commercial Offices that it has in Lima, Bogotá and Mexico City, ‘managing that Chilean companies can make essential business contacts to find the clients they need to continue growing'”.
