A car accident occurred on the Route PY01 (former South Access) and First presidentin the city of Nemby. One of the drivers involved was trapped in his vehicle for several minutes.

The accident involved a Kia Picanto car, driven by Miguel María Mareco Ovando30 years old, and a Kia Rio driven by Jessica Maria Brown, 36 years old. According to the police report, the Kia Picanto was traveling on Primer Presidente Avenue and when making a turn to enter Route PY01, it was hit by the Kia Rio that was traveling on the route, which has the right of way.

As a result of the crash, the Picanto overturned and the driver was trapped inside the vehicle. Neighbors in the area quickly helped lift the car so that the driver could be assisted.

Both drivers suffered minor injuries.

Commander Dante Babañoliof the Ñemby Volunteer Fire Department, indicated that Mareco Ovando was found trapped in his vehicle, but that he could finally be rescued and treated at the scene. Fortunately, the driver did not suffer serious injurieswhile the woman only had minor injuries. Both were transferred to healthcare centers to receive the corresponding medical care.
