An incident took place this Wednesday morning at the Higher School of Commerce No. 6 of Posadas, where a 13-year-old student caused massive poisoning with pepper spray, affecting both students and teaching staff.
The event occurred around 8:15 a.m., when Sabrina T., a first-year student, sprayed pepper spray inside a classroom. The action caused severe discomfort to her classmates and the teachers present at the scene.
A 52-year-old woman, who witnessed the incident, reported that the dispersed pepper spray caused symptoms of irritation and respiratory distress among those affected. In response to the emergency, members of the medical corps quickly traveled to the school to assist those affected. Several students required immediate medical attention.
In addition, personnel from the Jurisdictional Police Station intervened in the incident. Officers seized a small canister of black pepper spray, which is presumed to have been used in the attack.
School authorities, concerned about the seriousness of the incident, notified the Correctional and Juvenile Instruction Prosecutor’s Office. It was ordered that the corresponding actions be initiated to determine the circumstances and responsibilities of the case.
