Alien: Romulus will premiere on August 15 in theaters and in this way will continue with a cinematographic saga that knew how to enchant, and traumatize, more than one generation. This is the seventh installment of the iconic saga Alien and will be directed by the Uruguayan filmmaker, Federico Álvarez.

The film in question is led by a cast full of promising young people that includes Cailee Spaeny as Rain Carradine, Isabela Merced, Archie Renaux, David Jonsson, Spike Fearn and Aileen Wu.

In the trailer recently shared by the production company, it is noted that the film will have an aesthetic reminiscent of the classic elements of the franchise, and will not skimp on moments of tension, terror and suspense.

Regarding the synopsis, Cailee Spaeny told Variety that Alien: Romulus will take place between the events of Alien from 1979 and the sequel Aliens from 1986. “The story is about a group of young space colonists who, while scavenging an abandoned space station, come face to face with the most terrifying life form in their universe,” states the official description.
