The Tri Sub 23 Team comes with momentum after beat Bolivia 1-0 in a friendlyusing a mix of players from the senior team and young talents from the under 23 category.
The tournament is divided into two groups. In Group A, Mexico share a place with South Korea, France, Saudi Arabia and Ivory Coast. In their first match, the French were defeated 2-0 by Ivory Coastwith goals from Wawa at minute 63 and Bandama at minute 37. This leaves Ivory Coast leading the group with 3 points, followed by Saudi Arabia also with 3 points, while Mexico hopes to debut this Wednesday.
In Group B, the participating teams are Italy, Japan, Panama, Ukraine and Indonesia. The tournament promises to be an intense and exciting competition, where young footballers will seek to demonstrate their talent and potential on the international stage.
