He considers that there is “nothing that gives more promotional and emotional benefits to the city” than music, which is why he said he expects this Saturday, starting at 9:30 p.m. at the Monumental de Frascuelo, “a lot of the people of Granada”.

It will be a night in which the followers of the king of national rock will be only a part of all those who will participate in musical events within the agenda of the end of spring in Granada, along with those who go to the soccer field, as Miguel has pointed out. Ríos, to enjoy Saiko’s trap, and with “the purest classicism” of the Granada International Music and Dance Festival, in a solidarity gala of the National Ballet of Spain chaired by Queen Emerita Sofía.

A mix of styles that characterizes Granada well and that “we must continue to promote”, Ríos has maintained that for this Saturday when he celebrates his birthday on stage he initially thought of a festival with nine bands, which in the end has turned out , halfway through the program with three of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Rock’, on a date for five.

Thus, he will be accompanied by Los Ángeles, 091, Lagartija Nick and Ninos Mutantes, four bands that are among the best exponents of different moments of music illuminated in Granada in recent decades.

All of this within the framework of a program of activities that, this Friday, includes, at 6:30 p.m., a meeting between Luis García Montero, María Barranco, José Sánchez Montes and Juan Vida, and, later at the CajaGranada Theater, in the evening, with a concert by Anni B Sweet and Las Dianas, an event that Miguel Ríos highlighted to journalists for what it means to support female pop-rock music.
