A municipal ambulance transporting a patient crashed into a toll booth in Ituzaingó

The driver lost control and collided with the structure. A City police officer driving a truck was also involved in the accident.

A municipal ambulance crashed this noon against a toll booth in Ituzaingó. The driver lost control, collided with a City police van and ended up embedded between the cement structures.

The accident occurred at the Western Access, heading towards Luján, at the kilometer 26 toll. The ambulance was transporting a 48-year-old patient from the Güemes hospital in Haedo. The causes of the crash have not yet been established.

Despite this, the driver assured investigators that the accident began with a Nissan car that trapped her and forced her to maneuver suddenly. She climbed onto the sidewalk to avoid the collision, but she ended up crashing into a tree.
