«Marco is not your biological father, but you call him dad. “What does Marco mean to you?” Julio César Rodríguez asked Fernanda Cornejo, Karen Doggenweiler’s eldest daughter, about the entertainer’s husband, presidential candidate Marco Enríquez-Ominami. The 28-year-old professional, Political Scientist who settled in Buenos Aires where she works as a commentator on political programs, responded on Podemos Hablar:
«He is one of the most important people in my life, to whom I owe the greatest gratitude of who I am. Of the love that not only I, but also my sister, have received. The gift of having a sister is the greatest.
«How he loves my mother. See that reference of a couple that is such an honest love. Seeing them as a couple, that they are funny, that they die of laughter, that they are very complicit.
«They are very dense too. But they also have that lightness of enjoying easy moments, difficult moments, but also accompanying each other a lot as a couple. For me he is my father, right away. He adopted me, trained me, educated me, also with some harshness that I gave to my parents, for which I apologize in advance for what this difficult adolescence was like. But he deserves all my utmost appreciation, love, gratitude. He is what I miss the most being there (in Argentina).”
