Minutes after the tragedy, the site was cordoned off by the State Coordination of Civil Protection and later agents from the Investigative Police arrived to begin the investigations.

In this regard, the owner of the State Coordination of Civil Protection, Mauricio Ordaz, reported that the agency had already visited the place on March 15 and on that occasion it was noted that the place did not have security measures; However, the club presumably continued operating without security measures under the protection of having permission from the capital city council.

Ordaz added that the place did not inform or request the permission due to carry out an event of this type, a concert that requires special protocols.

Meanwhile, twelve hours later, the San Luis Potosí city council published a video in which the general secretary, Jorge Daniel Hernández Delgadillo, denied that this administration had given permission for the concert, without delving into the issue of permits and licenses. of operations that kept this place open.

Young people who were at the scene, in the midst of the tumult, confirmed to THE UNIVERSAL that “Rich” was a place where minors entered without any problem, and could also be consumed alcohol deliberately, even that same night there were among the attendees young people of 15 and 16 years of age, a particular audience of the artist who was also 16 years of age.

For his part, the corridos tumbados singer, Kevin Moreno, shared a statement and sent condolences to the victims of the incident.

The governor of the state, Ricardo Gallardosent his condolences and demanded that the municipal authorities apply a tough hand in granting operating permits and licenses, and asked the Prosecutor’s Office to speed up the investigation so that if there are omissions and culprits, they pay with “the full weight of the law.” He also added that support is provided to the families of the victims through the State Commission for Attention to Victims.

The death of Manuel Alejandro Infante Puente 21 years old, and Rodrigo Espinosa Alonso of 17 keeps the population of Potosí in total indignation and consternation, since the tragedy revealed the way in which nightclubs operate deliberately and with total impunity in the capital of Potosí.

In networks, the people of Potosí have shown solidarity and prayers have been raised for the two young people who died and for the 15 injured. Manuel, better known as “Meño” was an enthusiastic young athlete, originally from the municipality of Cedral where they would say their last goodbye.
