The collaborative musical ‘Ubuntu, we are all one’ has had the outstanding participation of the students of the Central Districtas part of the inclusive and socio-educational program through Ubuntu music.

This project, promoted by the Carlos III Orchestra, has been implemented in more than 155 educational centers nationwide.

The councilor of the Center, Carlos Segura, has supported with his presence the performance of the students of the CEIP Antonio Moreno Rosales in the theater Circus Price. During the event, Segura emphasized that “Ubuntu is a way to work as a team and promote collaboration.” solidarity among all the participants”, as stated by the City Council in a statement.

Segura has also expressed his gratitude towards “the different performing arts professionals who make it easier for students to feel the magic of getting on stage as if they were true professionals, giving them the opportunity to get to know up close what the world of entertainment is like.”

The magic of the stage and musical-social education

This inclusive project is complemented by DaLaNota’s free music-social educational program, in which the Centro Municipal Board collaborates. DaLaNota is developed in various educational centers in the district and, since its inception in 2015, has had the participation of more than 450 children from District.

The Ubuntu program not only promotes integration and collaboration among students, but also enriches their educational experience by bringing them closer to the fascinating world of performing arts. The combination of these efforts aims to provide students with comprehensive training that transcends traditional classrooms, promoting social, emotional and artistic skills.

The initiative of the Carlos III Orchestra and the collaboration with DaLaNota reflect the commitment of local institutions to the education inclusive and quality. These projects offer children and youths of the Central district unique opportunities to develop both personally and artistically, becoming an example to follow for other regions.
