Last February, La Raíz, a leading national rock band, broke its silence after saying goodbye to the stage six years ago.
The announcement flooded the internet and caused a flurry of reactions among his fans inside and outside the country. The rumor was confirmed with the announcement of a musical reunion in the form of a tour that also coincides with the band’s 20th Anniversary and whose first dates have just been published.
The long-awaited tour with which La Raíz will meet its fans again will tour some of the great arenas of this country, performing in cities such as Bilbao (March 7, Bilbao Arena Miribilla), A Coruña (March 22, Coliseum), Barcelona (whose date and venue are to be confirmed), Málaga (April 5, Cortijo de Torres), Avilés (April 26, Magdalena Pavilion), May 10 (Zaragoza, Multipurpose Space) and València (May 24, Campus Mislata Fair). La Raíz has announced that, in addition to these first dates, they will also visit some of the main festivals in the country during the summer.
Tickets for the first published dates are now available.
The band will begin this long-awaited tour in the fall, with two Wizink Centers whose tickets sold out in just twenty minutes. Almost instantly, the largest covered venue in the country was too small for the first concert announced by the Valencians. 34,000 people will gather in the capital to sing again some of the songs that became anthems for an entire generation.
A generation that will be able to celebrate its twenty years of life with the band in 2025, taking part in this long-awaited reunion in the form of a tour.
The reunion of The Root
La Raíz broke his silence last February by announcing his return after six years. A return that generated a flood of comments and messages on her network, accumulating millions of views and growing the rumor of an expected return.
La Raíz thus ends a break that was, for many, a hard blow, since the band from Gandía said goodbye at the highest point of their career, with six albums behind them and international tours that led them to perform in Argentina , Chile, Berlin, Hamburg, London, Edinburgh, Dublin, Rome, Lisbon, Porto, Poland, Mexico or Colombia.
This year the band returns to fulfill its promise of “We will meet again” with a Reunion Tour that will take them to perform in cities and festivals in the country throughout 2025.
