Valentino Escape 2024 is an invitation to embrace simplicity, appreciate the moment and find joy in good things. For the new capsule collection, the art of slow living takes center stage, with vibrant, carefree looks and Valentino Garavani accessories.
Infused with a festive feel, the Escape capsule explores sun-drenched afternoons and alfresco nights. The line of looks ranges from flowy caftans and chemisiers to flowy dresses and skirts, one-shoulder tops, flared pants and, of course, bikinis and swimsuits. All the components of a harmonious and intentional life, with joyful energy and a limitless vision.
For the collection, the House highlights two colorful archival prints, the Valentino Chevron 24 and the Valentino Starfish. Each fueled by its own unique spirit and inspiration, the prints revitalize notable moments from the past, with the Starfish originally appearing on the Valentino Spring/Summer 2015 runway, and the Chevron taking hold for the Valentino Spring 2019 collection.
The iconic prints also enrich Valentino Garavani accessories: the Starfish motif animates tone-on-tone totes and is hand-embossed in bright pink tones on espadrilles, the multicolored Chevron adorns bucket bags and eclectic slides. The sale continues in countless iterations, from printed headbands to hats, mini bags and more.
To tell the story of the capsule, the House has imagined an idyllic and intimate campaign made of delicate portraits and stolen memories. Around a villa by the sea, two personalities embody the joy and carefreeness of the collection while exploring the art of leisurely living on the coast.
The Valentino Escape 2024 collection will be available online and in select stores starting in mid-May, and the House will celebrate its launch with a series of events. To kick off the capsule, there will be an exclusive experience on a hot air balloon getaway in Cappadocia, amidst the sensational landscapes of Turkey, which perfectly encapsulate the spirit of the collection. Throughout June and July, activities will be organized around the world, including a boat experience in Mytheresa in the south of France, and events around the globe, from activations in the United States and Oman to the most famous summer spots in Europe.
