With gold, Yucatán marks the start of rhythmic gymnastics at the CONADE 2024 Nationals | National Commission of Physical Culture and Sports | Government

Rhythmic gymnastics began its activities this Thursday at the CONADE 2024 Nationals, where Yucatán took the lead in the medal harvest after obtaining the first two gold metals in dispute in the 11-12 year old category at the Alcalde Sports Center in Jalisco.

In individual, the southeastern state opened the sum of medals through Elisa Valentina Novelo Evia, who was crowned in individual All-Around with a score of 95,250, of which 24,400 were obtained in rope, 22,300 in hoop, 24,200 in ball and 24,350 in clubs.

Valentina Novelo was proclaimed champion, leaving second and third place for Ana Victoria Gómez-Pedroso from Jalisco (91.850) and Ana Fernanda Martínez from New Leon (91.350).

In the team awards, Yucatán achieved its second gold medal with a total of 220,950 points, while Nuevo León obtained the silver with a total of 220,500 and the bronze went to Aguascalientes with 220,100.

This first round was the apparatus qualifier of the category, since this Friday, June 14, the rope, hoop, ball and club finals will be held, the same case for the 13-15 years category.
