Gálvez presented “a lawsuit for the protection of the political-electoral rights of the citizen with the purpose of providing elements to the presidential qualification and that his arguments are taken into account in the considerations of his sentence.”

“The last elections on June 2 were not characterized by being clean and even, since the State apparatus was used to promote the official candidate, Claudia Sheinbaum,” he noted.

“Yes, I am contesting. I am not asking for the annulment of the election. What I am asking is for the Court to sanction the president because there have been more than 50 yellow cards,” Gálvez explained.

The former opposition candidate also wants an investigation into the use of public resources in the campaign of the Let’s Keep Making History coalition candidate.

“The president presented the social programs as his own and expressed that if another party won, they would take them away,” he said.

Gálvez also pointed out the alleged intervention by Morenoist governors in favor of Sheinbaum.

“I urge the electoral authorities to issue guarantees of reparation and non-repetition regarding the intervention of the President of the Republic in an electoral process, considering that these practices are already part of the political communication model of the Morena party.”

Xóchitl will tour the country

Xóchitl Gálvez, former presidential candidate of the PAN-PRI-PRD alliance, assured this week that she will continue in politics and will visit Mexican entities to “clear” her name in the face of the negative image generated against her by the multiple accusations by the president. Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

“I’m going back to the states. I want to clear my name. The president accessed confidential information to make people believe that I was corrupt. I have not stolen a peso in my life. That should be clear. When I arrived in Fox’s cabinet, I was already a businesswoman. It was complicated. They didn’t find anything for me personally. I want to make it clear… I am not retiring from politics. “I will remain active,” he said during an interview with Roberto Zamarripa, from the newspaper Reforma.

“I will return to the states. I want to talk. Tell them what happened. Let them reconcile themselves to defeat. I want to explain to you what quick counting is. We have several coincidences, we were close. She will have tremendous proof: that of the Supreme Court of Justice. I will make a proposal regarding justice. Without intent, without hatred,” she explained.

Xóchitl Gálvez came in second place in the presidential race, more than 30 points behind Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, who will be the first president of Mexico.
