The Corrientes Police reported this Friday that they carried out an extensive operation where they arrested a man accused of being involved in the accident that left a prisoner in serious condition.
Personnel from the Anti Arrebatos Division carried out a raid on a home located in the San Martín neighborhood of the city of Corrientes.
At the scene, a 20-year-old young man was detained and hijacked a motorcycle with which he allegedly ran over a prison officer, who was traveling in another vehicle, and then fled.
According to the first information, the person involved is part of the group called Stunt, which usually travels at high speed through the streets of the city.
The detainee and the motorcycle were taken to Police Station 20.
THE CASE
On Saturday, June 9, the road accident occurred that left José Luis Aguirre in a serious condition with a severe head injury, along National Route No. 12 and Maipú Avenue in the capital of Corrientes.
At the moment, it is not ruled out that the motorcyclist was hit by another motorcycle or an occasional vehicle.
Faced with this situation, on social networks the relatives ask “It is extremely urgent, if anyone saw something, go to the nearest police station. This cannot remain like this, Aguirre José Luis is fighting for his life.”
