It’s almost time to find out what has happened in the lives of Beatriz Pinzón Solano, Don Armando, Hugo Lombardi, la Peliteñida, Marce and the Cuartel de las Feas, 20 years after the story of I am Betty the Ugly one conquered the world’s public.
For several months the news had been announced that the Colombian soap opera created by Fernando Gaitán was going to have another sequel. Recall that shortly after the program ended, it was launched Ecomodaa series that followed the characters’ plot after Betty and Don Armando They married, but the sequel had little popularity.
Now, Amazon Prime Video takes up the story 20 years later, and from the trailers that the streaming service has released it is clear that the star couple has had problems, even bringing them to the brink of divorce. Mila, her daughter, will also be met.
In addition, most of the original cast will repeat in this new installment, so viewers will see Hugo Lombardi, Nicolás Mora, Marcela Valencia, Patricia Fernández, Gutiérrez, Freddy and the members of the Cuartel de las Feas again on the screen.
The actor Julio César Herrera shared on his social networks the preview of the novel, where the plot of the separation of Armando and Betty and the appearance of new characters is presented.
In the trailer you can see the company’s workers, as well as Betty and Armando at a funeral. Betty, as usual, makes a serious mistake and causes the coffin to fall to the ground prematurely. The burial is that of Don Roberto Mendoza, father of Don Armando.
Later we see how Armando and Betty argue constantly, reflecting the problems in their relationship. Marcela Valencia’s return to the fashion company is also known, demanding to take her place again. Two people even enter the story who become involved in Betty and Armando’s marriage, creating even more tensions between them.
The premiere of Ugly Betty will be on Prime Video on July 19.
