As if it were a science fiction movie, NASA broadcast audio of an astronaut in distress. Everything seemed to indicate that the crew on board the International Space Station had an emergency. However, the organization affirms that there is no emergency situation on the International Space Station.
In the live video, terrifying audio was leaked: an astronaut calling for help due to the compression loss. The broadcast also contained advice from a distraught surgeon who was stuck in traffic, still an hour away from reaching the control center. This caused the agency’s followers on social networks to be worried for approximately eight minutes when they heard an audio.
The alarms went off even more when a female voice said “unfortunately, the prognosis for the commander is quite tenuous, I would say, to keep it generic”, after this, the transmission ended. Minutes later, although everything seemed very real, NASA released a statement clarifying that everything was part of a simulation and that the crew was sleeping at the time of the supposed emergency.

NASA explained that the audio originated from an ongoing simulation to train crew members and teams on the ground in various scenarios in space., and was not related to a real emergency. After that, until now, there has been no more news about emergencies in International Space Station.
