After this noon, at around 12:45, police personnel became aware of a serious incident that occurred with a man in a hotel in the Los Molles area, in Malargüe.

A man, identified as Gerardo B., 38 years old, was working at the Hotel Las Termas de Los Molles, more precisely in the boiler part, when at one point it exploded and the operator was injured.

He was immediately assisted and transported in a private helicopter to the Comodoro D. Ricardo Salomón Airport, in the city of Malargüe, where an ambulance arrived to transport the victim to the Regional Hospital, where he entered and was examined by the doctor on duty, who diagnosed him with “SEVERE THIRD DEGREE BURNS, REMAINING IN THE ICU WITH A RESERVED PROGNOSIS.”

Then, after being hospitalized, it was decided to transfer the man in a private ambulance corresponding to the social work, to the Lagomaggiore Hospital in the city of Mendoza to continue his treatment in that more complex center specialized in burn patients.

The Assistant Prosecutor Dr. Allasino ordered the rigorous measures and the case is being investigated at the 24th Police Station
