In 2023-2 they disputed the definition Junior and Independiente Medellín. A semester later, the finalists were Atlético Bucaramanga and Santa Fe. In both cases, Freddy Hinestroza was part of the team that ended up being crowned; and both Mosquera Marmolejo and Daniel Torres were in the runner-up.
2023-2: His was a particular case. HE COULD NOT PLAY ANY OF THE GAMES AGAINST DIM! At the end of the home runs, he was sent off in the game against Deportes Tolima. He received a couple of suspension dates. He was not in the final but was an active part of the team in the coronation campaign.
2024-1: everything changed in his first campaign with Atlético Bucaramanga. He was important again in the campaign and this time also in the final. HE SCORE THE WINNING GOAL IN THE FIRST GAME! In the return match at Campín he started and played 63 minutes.
Mosquera Marmolejo He spent much of 2023-2 recovering from an injury. And he had to play in the final! He arrived in time to make up for the loss of José Luis Chunga in the DIM. He saved both games against Junior. In the first he received 3 goals; In the other, Vladimir Hernández scored the agonizing goal that tied the series. The penalties came and he didn’t save any in 5 attempts.
Now with Santa Fe he started again in the duels against Atlético Bucaramanga. He conceded a goal in the first leg and a couple in the second leg. He was again in a penalty shootout. They charged him 7 times and only stopped one (Leonardo Flores). He received 6 points.
In the case of Daniel Torres, with DIM played the 180 minutes of the definition against Junior. In the return, he assisted Edwuin Cetré’s goal. He also did something else that ended up being invalidated by an alleged handball. And in the penalty shootout, he was the only one who made a mistake out of the 9 that were awarded. That was the charge that made the difference.
With Santa Fe he also played 180 minutes. On this occasion he did not score or assist and it was notable that, being the captain, he was not responsible for any of the shots in the penalty shootout either. 7 were charged and he was not on that list.
