He pointed out that in May, according to Pemex’s monthly report, 40 percent of the debt with suppliers, which amounted to 380 billion pesos, was covered.

He stated that the business sector continues to participate with Pemex, especially in maintenance, prevention and correction contracts, the most frequent being those of Pemex Exploration and Production (PEP).


“We must remember that PEP is the area on which the entire economy of the state of Campeche, Tabasco and Veracruz depends; as well as the majority of national activity.


He pointed out that during the first half of the year, seven megaprojects have been presented, these being the ones directed by the federal government, through Pemex and the Ministry of Energy.


He explained that of these seven megaprojects, four of them fall in Ciudad del Carmen, in what is the Marine Region, of the Gulf of Mexico, which will benefit the state of Campeche.


“One depends on Veracruz and two on Tabasco, we are talking about exploration and production projects that will depend on the production of gas and hydrocarbon for the six refineries that are being rehabilitated, the new one located in Dos Bocas, Tabasco and the one they bought. in United States”.
