According to data provided by fire personnel, it was a head-on collision between a Gold Trend, in which the victims were traveling, and a Ford Ranger truck with four occupants who were taken to the nearest hospital.

It was a road accident that took place on the national artery near the Pirayú area, in Alvear at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

In this sense, the authorities announced to the regional media that the two deceased people were from Venado Tuerto, although one of them had been born in the city of Pergamino. They are SA, 37 years old, and Gina D., 30.
Alvear Corrientes Firefighters, health personnel from Alvear and Torrent Station, National Gendarmerie and Corrientes Provincial Police worked at the scene.
