A new Nintendo Direct will take place tomorrow, June 18

For weeks we have known that Nintendo had planned a Direct for this month of June. The conference was confirmed in last month’s income statement, but its exact date was revealed today.

Through a post on its social networks, we can see that the company has confirmed that tomorrow, June 18, we will have, perhaps, the last Nintendo Direct in the life of the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo has been clear once again, and there will be no mention of the successor to the Switch on this occasion.

The June Nintendo Direct will last about 40 minutes. And in it we are going to see all the news that they have prepared for us for this end of the year. The Direct It will take place at 10:00AM Chile time.

With the Switch 2 on the horizon, we shouldn’t expect to see a new Mario or Zelda. Instead, the company could focus on ports and remasters to help us wait until the new hardware arrives.

We can finally wait for the arrival of Metroid Prime 2/3 for Switch. Or also ports of Wind Waker and Twilight Princess for Zelda fans. All those doubts will be resolved tomorrow. And everything seems to indicate that this will be the last time we will see a Nintendo Direct in the life of the original Switch.
